The
manifesto
We believe that the best travel memories come from real connection with food, with locals, with fellow travelers, and with that place.
We create experiences that feel personal and rooted in the culture of each city. In a world of distractions, we slow things down to share stories around the table, to meet locals who live their city, and to make every bite meaningful.
We do this not just for our guests but because we love to travel this way.
Our Values
High-Fidelity Local Experiences
We craft experiences that reflect how locals vibe, working with real partners and an amazing team of local Sherpas. This is our craft and our promise.
Food Is Culture
Food is the most delicious way to know a city. From beloved classics to migration stories and ancestral recipes, every bite have a story to share
Buena Onda Is Our Secret Sauce
Sherpas lead with positive energy, crafting warm experiences where everyone feels comfortable. That vibe turns great food into unforgettable memories.

Every tour, guest, and city helps us grow. We're customer-obsessed and constantly refine our experiences to deliver the highest quality.

María Candela Petta

Buenos Aires
With a degree in tourism and a deep-rooted love for food, my passion for the shared table comes from my Italian family, where the pizza and wine are always homemade. I bring that same care and attention to detail to my hobbies, whether I'm playing the guitar, doing ceramics, or practicing sport shooting. At Sherpa, I'm the face behind Reservations, always happy to help and make sure you have everything you need for the perfect tour.

As part of the Communications team at Sherpa, I get to combine my background in culture and communication with a serious love for good food. I’ve always believed that writing is the best way to channel my curiosity and share compelling stories about the world. I'm a proud local with a restless appetite for the globe. When I'm not writing, you'll probably find me listening to music or singing. I simply love 'doing things' and live by the motto of trying a little bit of everything.
